Once again, he was for any position at one time in his life, that's why he is never wrong.

 

So, is the argument here they would be a distraction or are mentally weak and require some special attention?

How is that line of thinking different from past debates over allowing gay men and women to serve, or going back further allowing any woman to serve alongside men?

And if they are willing to die for my country, I'd welcome them no matter what. Very shameful you don't feel this way. Almost unpatriotic, if you think about it. But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, you're one of the more reasonable posters on here.

Very un-American to deny able-bodied, of-age individuals the privilege of joining the military.

Ok. I can hope this wasnt a spur of the moment decision. This will not affect many soldiers. This is not the only reason citizens who are willing to die for our country cannot serve. I dont know enough about this mental state to have a strong opinion either way but I want to believe he didnt just wake up and make that decison without reason.
