So Modly: - spent $243K to fly to Guam and back - spoke for 30 minutes to explain his actions to the crew - called the former Captain naive and stupid - did not tour the ship or meet with the crew - loses his job when he gets back - is now quarantined because he was exposed to covid-19 while on the ship This Administration is just a total ****-up at everything they do https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...t-cost-243-000-leads-modly-ouster/2973486001/
People complain about Biden's mental acumen, yet Trump continually says he doesn't know people that he clearly has spent time with. He doesn't qualify it with "i don't know him well". He flat out denies knowing them if it's to his benefit.
With all the criticism of Jared Kushner I'm surprised Trump hasn't said he doesn't know him. And says that Ivanka kept her marriage secret from him.
More brilliance by the commander and thief WPE in case you didn't know what it means WORST POTUS Ever.
This is why the captain needed to keep his mouth shut..... Chinese aircraft carrier on the move. https://www.scmp.com/news/china/mil...les-warships-pla-navy-aircraft-carrier-strike
A sailor who tested positive for the coronavirus aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt has died https://www.businessinsider.com/uss-theodore-roosevelt-sailor-with-covid-19-dies-2020-4
I missed this yesterday but heard it about it this morning. Very sad. We always need to remember that our troops face danger even when not in a war zone. There are training accidents and other dangers just in peacetime. On top of that being in the military especially as an enlisted isn't a pleasant experience. Your freedom is heavily curtailed and your life is largely out of your own control. It's tragic this sailor died and we should honor his sacrifice as much as we if he had died in combat.
