Anyone like any game in particular? A few have caught my eye.... I like Vandy vs Ole Miss... Vandy has covered vs Ole Miss in 4 of the past 5 years... last year they were ~25 point dogs and lost by 3.... they are 13 point dogs saturday in Nashville. OSU vs Neb... What is wrong with this picture? Neb favored by 8? OSU should clear that no promblem...Seems too good to be true but that game will be getting some action.... Finally.... Wisconsin vs West Virginia... My roomate is from Wisc... they are on the road and favored by 3.... not too sure bout this one... Davis should run all over WV, question is will WV do the same to the Badgers? Any other thoughts on games out there?
I like OSU with the points, but I'm picking Nebraska to win.... I also like CSU to cover and beat Colorado...
Wow... 1 1/2 points.... I may have to agree with you there... where are they playing the game? Paper has a 'd' next to CSU....
I'll take OSU over the Huskers straight up. Another 6 win season for Nebraska. How long will Husker fans put up with no post-season appearances? Solich is a dead man walking IMO. How much is ou favored by over N. Texas? Didn't they struggle offensively against them last year? And this year, Q. Griffin is gone. Ohio State vs. Washington should be the game of the week. Washington can score some points and I wonder if the Clarett situation will be a distraction for OSU. I also think Georgia vs. Clemson will be closer than expected. Should be a good game as well. CSU is in Colorado's head's. I'll take CSU again. Sorry, I don't have the pointspread in front of me at the moment.
Ohio State over Washington. You can't win if you can't run and I don't think Washington can do much against OSU's front 7. Throw in it's a night game and OSU will be pumped. Give me OSU -8.5 or 9 (whatever the line is) WVU-Wisconsin could be a good game, WVU is a very good team at home. But I think Wisconsin will pull this one out, but I would take WVU +3, it will be close
They didn't play them last year. They struggled against Tulsa, but I don't think Griffin had a good game that game, so that doesn't really matter...Jason White is also supposedly a lot better than last year too. We'll see.... In a game of 2 very high-powered offenses with very average Defenses, it could go either way....OSU has 2 brand new starting DT which is not a good thing against Nebraska. If it was in Stillwater or on a neutral site, I'd pick OSU....
jeff.. i like that thinking! last year vandy played very well on the road vs ole miss.. which reminds me i still haven't gottten my vandy student tickets yet hmm
jeff.. I thought you were gonna be right on that first pick up until late in the game.... oh the painful life of a vanderbilt football fan...
Auburn is getting their arses handed to them in their own backyard. Talk about laying an egg. SC looks like the real deal, especially defensively. Flat out intimidating. The Huskers surprised me today. I guess having 800 alumni players looking over your shoulder had them pretty pumped up. That defense looked like the Nebraska of old. The Blackshirts could be back. They should stick with the zone coverages and scrap that man to man. They can still be aggressive without leaving their cb's on an island. I actually kind of like OU's throwback uni's. They should wear them for the rest of the season. Ohio State looks like they're trying to make a statement....and doing a pretty good job of it. EDIT: Man, CU/CSU looks like the game of the day so far. I think I'll stick with this one for the rest of the night. Tomorrow is the only game that matters, though. We will be starting the "pre-game festivities" at my buddies house at around 11am. Should be nice and hammered by game time (just like the majority of people at DKR Memorial Stadium will be). God, I love football season.
