The role he played on this team was not THAT guy. He basically stole 2 games from Boston for the 76ers... but Embiid did what exactly? He averaged less than 25 PPG this series and he is the MVP. If you #2B guy gets you two games... the MVP is supposed to bring this home. Did James not look at the basket in Game 7 sure, but I am STILL looking for Embiid to show up. He didn't. Anyone who can definitively say they don't want Harden back without knowing where and who we land in the draft, what other free agents would be interested in joining with Harden OR without Harden, how much Harden would want to be paid/desired contract structure, who rounds out the coaching staff, and what trades we make is just someone who is overly emotional and incapable of making intelligent decisions. This is a quality of someone who does not do anything respectable in life, because any respectable profession the most important thing to be successful is to remain calm and evaluate a situation completely, and not to over react based on limited information.
