    As powerful as it was (getting way off topic) the core of the storm was pretty darn small

    That, I think is both why the winds got so powerful (ala an Ice skater tightning a twirl) and why it was so easily disrupted
    Thank God that it did weaken when it did..
    I have a ton of family that was in the way of Lili
