The problem is upside. If Yi is already 3-4 years older than we think he is, then he probably won't be much better than he is now. Those years might mean the difference between Yi someday reaching Yao's level, or him becoming just another WangZhizhi lol....

why did W pull the SCAMs---Iraq had WMDs, "Brownie, hecka job", "i will fire anyone who's involved w the CIA leaks", etc ?

why did the SEC, the taxpayers' watchdog, turn a blind eye on the Scam by Madoff. It took industry meltdown to expose the Ponzi scam perpetuated by the crook ?

why were the credit-rating agencies merely sucking their thumbs when the mortgage / financial industries was in the midst of a meltdown ?
