Yao for 3?

The first year Yao got here,he sank a 3 from behind the arc and that was beautiful.

Then 7 years after,he drained a 3 again from top of the key,god damn it,I couldn't believe what I was seeing while watching the game last night,it's utterly rare to see Yao get his shots off from the 3 point line.

Anyways,he's good shooter the first year then there came JVG,his jumpers deteriorate gradually year by year.Hope he can pick it up soon.

 

Isn't that the same thing what happened in his rookie season with Francis? I remember Francis drove to the basket and did a over the shoulder/back pass to Yao for the three.
