Patterson was still the GM of that draft and he was one that got the draft picks to get Roy. Patterson always gets screwed. He never gets credit for the rocket championships and he doesn't get any credit for rebuilding the jail blazers.
Pritchard seems way too full of himself. Then again Woj seems to have some sort of personal vendetta against him for whatever reason. I wonder what his stake in all of this is.
Really? This is Blazer ownership on the offensive so their fans won't go ape**** when they fire him. If they do fire him, they will never win the public unless they win a title. Anything else, any missed draft or personnel mistake, will be blamed on them firing him. As great as Blazer fans seem now, they have shown they will bail at the first sign of trouble.
Most good professors are like that. Morey keeps a lot of students around him, too - how often has he mentioned we've got a big FO? - which keeps him in check, I think. I was worried he was going to crack when Dorsey flubbed last year but he handled it well.
