How do you know he doesn't want to come to Houston?

We haven't even heard from him at all. For all we know, he wants to stay in Denver.

Until I hear from his mouth in audio or video form that he doesn't want to come to Houston, I still have faith.

Well, we haven't been getting any recent updates on the Houston side of things. Perhaps I'm just being a negative Ned so if we don't get him, it won't sting as much. I just can't see him coming down here, with his apparent attraction to New York in the east.

I hope just as much as you we get him. It just seems unlikely and maybe it'd be best if we just went to war with our guys now.

New York and know with the addition of the Russian guy, New Jersey, will always be in the news. BSPN's headquarters are there and they always have that east coast bias towards the New York area.

Every report had LeBron going to New York, but did that happen? Miami wasn't even mentioned up until the last minute.

Hell, if ESPN were right, LeBron, Amare, Bosh, Melo, and Wade would all be on that roster by now.

You just have to have faith in Morey. If anybody can pull this off, it's him.

Be patient. For all we know, Morey is on the phone with Ujiri right now as we speak.

Melo hasn't even came back to the States yet, I think he's still in China.

The Nuggets and Melo will have their little meeting and after a couple of days, I believe a resolution will come.

I highly doubt this goes on through training camp. Either Melo will or won't be there.

I agree with you. Let's hope the Knicks lose plenty of games this year.

They think they are going to convince Melo to stay.

Unless stern riggs this draft too and the knicks end up with the pick.

And maybe they can, especially if the Nuggets start off strong.

But I wouldn't count on it.

My first impression of that kid is that he is a lunkhead. Listen to him talk in interviews.

I tried to tell you guys.
Melo will not sign an extension with anyone other than the below teams, and the Nuggets are having a hard time making it work.

    1)NYK
    2)NJN
    3)LAC
    4)HOU

Hence, Nuggets are now in damage control.
Nothing going on here! Move along!

Id kind of rather keep our Knicks draft picks and see who we land now. I think we might get lucky there somehow.

By then, Yao, Scola, Battier, and Martin will be a year older. They aren't spring chickens anymore. They are in their primes NOW. It makes no sense to wait, unless we are rebuilding.

This is kind of why I want to hang on to the picks till December or January, to see how the Knicks do and just how available their picks will be. The thought of getting a top prospect like Perry Jones is tempting especially if it becomes apparent that Houston has to move on from the Yao era, which I hope doesn't happen but there always is that possibility.
