This is probably a long shot, but does anyone have one of the "Court of Dreams" pieces of the summit floor they'd be willing to part with? If so, I'd be interested in buying it from you.

By what you said, I expected it to be upwards of 10,000 bucks when I clicked on the link.

I can actually imagine a lot of fans are willing to part with a couple of grand for a signed and authenticated piece of the court where their childhood (or otherwise) heroes won it all.

I have one but it was a gift, and besides... its freaking awesome.

I'll part with my Jordan rookie before I part with that.

hey now it was a wedding gift its partially finalsbound's too!

wow i didnt know there were signed pieces, that would be really awesome to have and only 500 exist thats pretty crazy. but 2k is really pricey if you ask me. I would prefer to have a hakeem/yao signature card combo probably instead since it would be cheaper and i already have a regular court of dreams piece.

good luck finding one even though there were 16k of those court of dreams made they are a bit hard to find.

yeah I'm not looking for one of the signed ones. That guy on ebay selling it for $2000 was selling it for $2500 last week - his auction ended with no bids.

There was a piece for sale on ebay that I was winning (for $75) and someone came and won it at the last second for $76 - I was a little miffed, because they rarely show up for sale.

You'd think with over 16,000 pieces made surely a few would be floating out there for sale...I guess I'll just keep looking. Like I said, I knew it was a long shot.

I see these fairly often at various sports memorabilia dealer places around Houston. The often show up at the conventions as well. If you keep your eyes peeled you can find the unsigned ones for under $100 fairly easily.

FYI, I just found and bought one of these on ebay for $50 (including shipping and tax). There is one left - I know some others were looking for a piece so I thought I'd pass the info on to you:

Hey.....I have piece 6,725 of 16,611 of the old Summit floor certified and signed by Rudy T. I am not an huge Rockets fan and may be willing to part with this item. I'm asking $500. I know others say they can get a piecr for way less but this is a great item for an avid Rockets fan to add to their collection or put on their desk. This item is in mint condition!!!
