To true. But I would not give up the needed young assets to acquire Bosh. If it was just money that would be a different story.

I hope Morey wouldn't be as butthurt as some people are and would gladly get Bosh on the team if possible.

at what cost? This teams looking really good right now... and the depth is a lot stronger than most of us thought... I think we are only a couple minor pieces away...

I vote against giving up our quality depth to land bosh... I think we are close to championship caliber now and if we can use our lin exception on someone worth it.... that just might do it.

looking at the parity of the NBA this year that is.

no need to trade for Bosh when you can get LA for free.

Dude's making almost 30M a year for tue next 5 years bruh. Lol common now didn't people learn anything from the Amare signing a couple years back? A lot of times the contract matters more than the actual talent of the player in question.

This is a horrible idea and the OP should be shot (or 1 starred) for proposing it. The only one making significant money on the squad aside from HnH is Ariza, we'd have to give up a ton of players just to make salaries match.

If Bosh had signed for four years at ~24M it would have been a different story. Bosch will not be traded until the $600M-$750M cap bump in the summer of 2016.

Even if there's a cap bump don't you think it makes more sense to just get normal guys rather than an overpriced player like Bosh? You could theoretically afford a 3rd star like say Gogi (just an example) while still being able to keep guys like Bev and DMo on the squad.

Would rather get someone younger. Bosh can go back to Canada.

I say let him sink with the ship like he thought he did to us. He looks like the predator on crack anyway.

Agreed! In 16, if we keep our cap flex, we could again sign him outright. If we felt he could still contribute. But right now, we'd have to give up our depth for him to make salaries work. It's not worth it.

I think Bosh did us a favor. We are fine without him. TJones was playing great before his injury and now D-Mo is coming into his own. Let's get a better backup for Dwight though.

things went a lot better than we thought this summer:

    ariza > parsons

    jet > lin

    Dmo's offense = asik's defense

plus, who would we trade that could match salaries with bosh, outside of H&H? ariza, papa, jet? that would only match salaries, then they would want picks and young players. pellies pick, canaan, dmo or capela. i'd rather have 2 stars and 6 other really strong players. i think more than anything else the heat proved that 3 stars don't guarantee a championship.

Why is this thread getting so much attention. There is no way to make it work within the salary cap for multiple reason: 1: how would you match salary? 2 Bosh is on a five year contract which would mean we can't sign Harden to one... Are you really going to do that to Harden? 3 By next summer we couldn't fit his salary into the cap and by the next we will have to pay Howard more. No way it works.

Not only that. Stats indicate that DMo's defense > Asik's defense so far this season.
