Actually probably not. The cost in assets would be very high if Howard and Harden are off the table. Canaan, D-Mo, Papa, the NOP pick, Terry to even get the salary numbers to even begin to make sense and several of the second rounders. That might not even get Miami to consider it. Superstars are only traded right before their contracts expire. Love. Melo. Harden.

Contract is too big. We don't need him that bad now.

If Bosh's current team is sub-.500 in a sh-tty Eastern Conference, why would anyone think he'd actually improve the Rockets in a brutal West given what we'd have to give up to get him and what we'd be paying him?

He chose to go for the money and Miami decided retaining Bosh and being mired in mediocrity for the rest of the decade was more important than rebuilding. They made their bed. Let them lay in it.

Not sure why yall dont get it. Bosh didnt want to play in Houston because of the added pressure to deliver. He just wanted a check. Miami was willing to mortgage their future for him to stay, but this will be the greatest downfall in Riley's Career and Miami is due to be a cellar dweller relatively soon. I predicted before this season started that regardless of whether they had Bosh or Wade, they would still struggle to make the playoffs. They started off the first week or so strong, but things have drastically turned for the worst. Spo will most likely be fired next season as well. Good luck trying to move that albatross of a contract now.

Exactly. He chose the money and not more rings. I totally doubt Morey is going to give up every young asset to trade for him. Miami will be less mired in mediocrity with Bosh than if they had let him walk.

He's on record saying the pressure in houston would Have been to much, we don't need that kind of mentality on this team.

Wow. That's probably why he acts like he has a personal issue with Lebron, Lebron isn't there to carry him.

The contract is bad... the player would be a tremendous fit. Just my guess, but I don't think Miami would consider rebuilding for another year, at least.

A four year max and a five year max are very different things, especially when the player on the five year max will be in the tail end of his career on the end of the contract.

Bosh isn't worth that contract when you look at how much time and money is left.

No need for Bosh at all in Houston.

Bosh essentially admitted to having no heart, I don't know why anyone would want him.

Bosh may not be able to carry a flawed team as the top guy anymore-- if he ever was able to do that-- but he can be a tremendous addition to the current Rockets team; a team that has Dwight Howard to do the dirty work in the paint and the new and improved James Harden on the perimeter.

In Miami, Wade is aging but still good, Deng is fine but has missed some games and his replacement Granger doesn't look healthy. Birdman is no longer Birdman and they are sorely lacking in size and athleticism among role players (which was a problem last season, too, even with LeBron).

The contract may look bad but if he is that final piece to the puzzle, it may well be worth the money and the high $ might make him available at a more reasonable price trade asset-wise. Look at Joe Johnson-- bad contract but really helpful to Brooklyn. Too bad Deron Williams and Brook Lopez could never stay healthy and effective.
