I guess all the '99ers who are no longer here would vote No.

Or they moved to Utah where there is no internet.

Yes, but it’s gonna be dark days indeed. Our future with Tilman is scary.

I just don't know. It'd be a bigger blow to me if Morey leaves than Harden. I believe in Morey but I'd love to see him get the chance to do a full on rebuild just once. I feel like he's been building this team with one hand tied behind his back for his entire time here.

I'm very concerned about the reign of Fertitta. I've been wondering why the Knicks fans stick it out for decades. I couldn't do what they do. I don't want to be miserable. If he continues to concern himself more about the luxury tax than he does winning and meddling in roster moves ala Westbrook I'm not sure if I have it in me to stick that around. I don't say that lightly. I've been a diehard since I was 8 years old and I'm now 43. But seriously, if Fertitta proves to be the Dolan like owner that I'm starting to believe he is then my mental health won't be able to withstand it.

The level of investment may decrease, but the fandom never dies. Rox for life. If we suck and aren't playing for a chip in the coming years. Then I can at least root for us to make some other team's day suck by beating them.

It's OK - Mad Max is leading a search party for them. No one named Donner allowed. Or Malone.

I rooted for Ryan Bowen, Moochie Norris was a valuable back up for me, I believed in Terrence Williams and I still think Royce White could have been a good player.

I guess that adds up to yes.

Haven't read the thread but I'm sure what I'm about to post has already been said.

As a fan of The Houston Rockets this is a very stupid question. I was a fan before Morey, I was a fan before Harden ,before Yao, Steve, Maloney and Dream. Rudy, Moses and Calvin were already here when I became a fan. I watched and sported the gear every year.

Sports are entertainment for me. I am entertained by a group of men competing and giving their utmost to succeed. Even if they don't win. But they have to try.

I am not entertained by wilful mediocrity, by watching an endeavor where the owner is content to merely serve as plucky losers for the rest of the league, so long as the enterprise is financially successful. I have a difficult time caring about the Texans for this reason. Having Watson is one of the few reasons I do care, as I think Watson is talented enough to lead them near a championship in spite of ownership and management's best efforts.

I don't even mind tanking, provided it's with the mindset of acquiring otherwise unavailable assets that will be used for a championship run. Like the Astros.

If ownership doesn't care about winning, then I don't care about following their activities. Fertitta is more and more showing me that he cares about winning, yes, but he cares about making money a whole lot more.

    FAIRWEATHER FAN ALERT:
If you ONLY root for your team when they are 'winning' something, and then
give up on them when they are not, then this board has no use for you.
I'm sure there is still room on the Lakers bandwagon. Many people jumped
to GSW recently, but I'm sure they'e jumping back on. BETTER HURRY!
Still time to get your Lakers swag and go rub shoulders with 'fake' fans

Of course, but its obvious Tilman is going to be the next Dolan / Sarver.

I wish we had a Balmer with endless stacks of cash, who wouldn't meddle.

i wouldn't root against them (players, coaches) that's for sure. It's like if you're a Knicks fan: are you going to be mad at the players and their play or do you hold it against the ownership that's failed to deliver a quality product? It's going to be the latter 9 times out of 10.

No, because that would imply that we no longer desire a winning culture or will do what it takes to win.

    Yes. Of course.

I believe Morey is out after this season regardless of what happens going forward. And Harden is great and I really like him, but I've bever been a Harden Only Fan.

    NOT old, he's 'tenured'.
Apparently been a true fan for all of his life like many of us.
Apparently you are too fragile to handle sports fandom. Golden State fans
are getting a taste of humble pie this year. It happens to EVERY franchise.
Lakers were nothing until this year.

So, why don't you hop on your fairweather horse and mosey on over to 'wintown'
where you won't have to be butthurt or offended by 'your' team.
Oh, wait, you don't HAVE a team. It's whoever is winning at the time. Right. . .
