Okay, bigboy, I'm confused. Are you saying that Francis is not a franchise player or is? Are you saying that McDyess and Brand are franchise players or not?

Who are your franchise players other than Duncan and Garnett?

The reason why I ask is that it seems like you just contradicted yourself when you agreed with Crisco, who had agreed with me.

    Now, are you confused yet?:p

I did some lurking on Clippers message boards. To know what Odom's value is to their own fans. Now, we wouldn't trade Francis for almost anything, except taller player, equal talent. You guys keep saying it will take this and that to get Odom. Here is what they're pondering:

    Odom for Micheal Curry (Detroit)
    Odom for the #10 pick
    Odom for the #9 pick
Odom, Mcinnis, #8 and #12 for Andre Miller

You tell me, Micheal Curry, on a team full of swing men, or KT on a team that lacks depth up front?

Of course, there were the pessimists. Those guys "demanded" Rebraca(alone). Then they asked for Micheal Curry and a future pick.

How does KT, #15, and 2 2nd rounders next year sound? Better than those deals.

Better yet, how's KT and the #5, for Odom and the #8?

We can do this without giving up much. Miles is another Garnett. Apparently, he can do anything. He's capable of eclipsing KG, and I believe them. He's so quick, so fast, so smart, so hard working. If he develops a jumper this offseason, Odom is a gonner. We better be there to pick him up.

Another thing. With his buddies Cat and Wink, I don't think Odom's off the court problems will be much to worry about. Plus, he won't be playing 40 minutes a night, so injuries aren't a concern. He wants to come back with a vengeance. I hope he does it for US.

Sane, I want you to know that I am in complete agreement with you that this team needs Lamar Odom. We have to give up something of value to get the guy; Elgin Baylor (Clips' GM? I think) might have his hands tied thanks to Sterling's penny-pinching, but we can't be the only teams offering up goodies for players on the Clippers roster. They won't have a firesale. Odom by himself is worth the #3, or the #6 and the #15 together. My idea is the Clips could use their picks to move up for Jay Williams or whomever.

I'd like us to use the #15 for a big man but we'll have to hide and watch, I guess, in how those balls bounce on lotto day.

Out of curiosity, who would give up the #1 (overall) for Odom? I hope you all say no to that.

But, what about the #1 overall and Cuttino for T-mac? Completely hypothetical.
