It's hard to not get jaded towards Chinese products when you have to take a toy away from your 5 month old son because it tested high for lead.

Well it depends a lot on who the manufacture is, when we were searching for the right products we went through 20 some Chinese cities, and 40 some factories, and as a witness I can say that 3/4 of them have very good quality systems, good spare parts warehouse and the skill to produce high quality products, but i'm only talking about excavators and forklifts, but i also have to admit that not all manufactures have the same standards, some of them are still using technology from the WW2.

But I point of this post is that the Chinese manufactures are catching up, the quality of products coming from China is still uneven now, but I do believe in few years they will catch up S-Korean.

China today is very much like the US in the early 1900s, where everything goes to make a buck. It is a much more pure form of capitalism compared to the United States today, I thought people like bigtexxx would love to live in a country like that.

There is a reason why the US have so much regulations and regulatory agencies, pure capitalism doesn't work very well over the long term.

Give China 10-20 years to clear up its acts.

Believe me, I'm making plenty of "bucks" off of China. It's not where I would choose to live, though! I can make my bucks from afar off them
