You've been exactly where in the last few days? Think about a little school about 150 miles west of Houston and a little sport that they play with the skin of an animal that makes them unclean.
Not sure if it's national, but I simply can't stand those Fleet commercials with that idiotic and annoying guy who bugs Derek Jeter and Nomar Garciaparra. They played that commercial every 5 seconds during the baseball playoffs. "Yeah, I've got some funds to transfer, too..."
Major - shanna, How'd you end up with "Major"? After all that input, we don't get no explanation??? Sorry, I did it under the radar. http://bbs.clutchcity.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25648
As I said In another thread , The Worst Has to be Coors Light's "Ready For a Cold One?" I hate that ad , its cleary some Budweiser-wannabe completely not funny ad that looks lame . And that Polar Bear makes it even more pitiful .
Paraphrased but still bad: Annoying Kid: Mrs. Peppercorn, you can get Steve here Bobby:...Bobby Annoying Kid: whatever...a Dell PC with an Intel Pentium III processor. And for a limited time you can get a free printer or cd burner upgrade. Mrs. Peppercorn: Come along Bobby. Time to go shopping for a Dell. Annoying Kid: You're getting a Dell. Awesome buddy! [high fives Bobby]
The stupid Gap commercial with Eric Clapton, some other dude, and Jon Bon Jovi playing their little guitars and singing. That is pure crap. Also, I like the Aerosmith song. It's more rock-n-roll than they've done in a while.
Actually, that's Robbie Robertson, not Eric Clapton. The other dudes are Ritchie Sambora and Dwight yoakum. They're singing that Supertramp song "Give a Little bit." I'd agree that the Aerosmith song was more rock-n-roll if it didn't have that artificially harmonized na-na-na part . But even then, it still sucks. Got to agree that Dell Kid is annoying as ****. He looks like the b*stard love child of David Bowie and Eddie Haskell.
Are you talking about the "Give a little bit" commercials or is that another one. I love those commercials. Has anyone here in Austin ever seen those commercials for that lawyer Betty Blackwell. Oh my goodness those are the worst pieces of crap on the air now.
I hate those damn stinking Rockets commercials with that dude with the Rocket socks cheering. You know why? Because we haven't had anything to cheer about in a long time now. Somebody needs to take those socks and tie his hands behind his back with one and stuff the other one in that guy's mouth. What the hell is he cheering about....a 7 game losing streak? And you can take that Reliant energy and electrocute him while your at it.
Oh man. I actually like that one, especially the first time I saw it. I also don't mind the "ready for a cold one" ads too much either. The kind of commercials that I really hate are: - The new Subway commercials with that creepy guy who goes around to random restaurants and takes people to Subway. Doesn't anyone else find this guy creepy?? - Pretty much any car/truck commercial except for the "you've got mail guy" one, which I like. - Beauty product ads (Oil of Olay, Clairol, etc..). - 1-800 Collect commercials (except for the Mr. T one -- anything involving Mr. T is automatically cool). - I used to really hate the Herbal Essences ads, but they have started to grow on me lately. Oh, and my sister really, really loathes the little "zoom zoom" Mazda boy.
Ya'll hit many of them on the head: If this is the one with the Carrot-head dude, yeah aweful. But the most annoying are a tie between: 1A: "What would you do?" Puke on the guy who thought up the above commerical. 1B Of course, maybe being the worst commerical is actually serving its purpose. In that business I think it is better to be stupendously horrible (unless it so motivates persons to avoid the product) than mediocre.
I hate all those mentioned...I also can't stand those zoom zoom zoom car commercials.....they drive me insane
I avoided Mr. gatti's for about three years because of annoying comercials. I make it a point to avoid companies that annoy me. Telemarketing.....sure fire way of losing and/or never gaining me.
Oh my God I hate that commercial!!! How many times did they play that during the Big 12 Championship? Id say about 3,000. I cant stand Garth Brooks!
