Rockets are a pick your poison team. Stay with the outside shooters and Harden, Capela and CP3 go off.
Pack the paint to stop Harden, Capela and in most nights CP3 and the 3-point shooters go off.

Tonight the T-Wolves picked their poison and stayed with the outside shooters most of the time. It’s a case
of 3’s or 2’s. Like Kevin Love, KAT is a liability in the playoffs defensively. No comment on Wiggins.
I don’t want to explain how he can be better right now.

Good luck in the future @Juiceman , just not in this first round.

KAT is still really young and a very high character kid. He is no where close to reaching his potential. With Wiggins I can see as over rated but I would take KAT on the Rockets every day of every week.

Welcome @Juiceman, thanks for stopping by. Congrats on being back in the hoffz. Yall have a bright future. KAT is a beast but he needs to quit being a 3pt shooter and use his size and athleticism. Wiggins still has potential but needs to build confidence. That's your good news.

Bad news (for you) is that was a very shaky Rockets team in gm1. Expect a much tougher challenge going forward. CP3 will step up in a big way and 3pt shooters will step up (including Ryno eventually).

I see Wolves taking game 4 out of desperation but that's it. Rox in 5. Look forward to some good seasons though!

As a Wolves fan, does KAT also look perennially out of shape to you? Obviously, he's a professional athlete, but the guy looks like he doesn't necessarily take his conditioning seriously, and I think that his rebounding comes mostly from him size, which might be his biggest gift. Not to be an arse, but I'm genuinely curious.

Agreed. Towns is overrated imo. He's no Embiid, AD, Cousins, Nurk, Joker, or Gasol IMO.. from what I've seen, he doesn't have what it takes to lead a team as a number 1. That's why you got Butler who also isn't enough IMO to win significantly in the playoffs.

As a Wolves fan it must be sad to see an athletic guy like Capela yam at the rim all night long, while a more talented guy like KAT just sits around waiting to jack a 3-pointer - what a terrible use of his talent.

And Capela gets leaner, his shot gets batter. While KAT's bodyfat percentage just goes up, despite Thibs playing him 49mpg.
