Leonard might choose the Lakers. But, just because there is no news coming out of Toronto, don’t discount the Raptors’ chances. Ujiri and his team play things close to the vest, and, from everything I’ve read, Kawhi likes that about the organization. Furthermore, the Raptors have Alex McKechnie, and the Lakers don’t.

Lastly, does Kawhi Leonard strike you as the type of person that will be comfortable with all the media attention that a LeBron James-team gets? Not me.

I’m sure his entourage would love to have him in Los Angeles, but I think there was a distinct reason that the Clippers were the team he preferred. The media attention given to the Clippers is much less than that of the Lakers.

I thought with Kawhi not deciding today that the rest of the night wouldn’t be very interesting...

Yea like the ESPN lady said. I think it's a loyalty test to see if raps will leak. So no news just means the raps are honoring kwahi privacy

I agree with you on the Kawhi/Lebron pair and on the Clippers being on paper a better fit for him, i always thought that from the moment he got traded to the Raptors, but seeing all the reports and what happened so far, it just seem more likely to have him join the Lakers than it was a couple of days ago.

Now that the Clippers have struck out on every major free agent and Anthony Davis, they don’t look so hot to Leonard. The Lakers, with LeBron and Davis, do. But, so do the Raptors, and he’s a god-like figure in Canada.

Here’s my point about all of these Kawhi Leonard leaks. When leaks come out that involve media whores like LeBron James, they tend to have credence. Those types of guys love feeding stuff to the press. When they involve a person that plays his cards close to his vest, like Kawhi, you are more apt to question the validity of them.

As for the Rockets, I’m guessing they turn their attention towards Kevin Love or Bradley Beal.

I think after this mess, Rockets should not pursue Butler in the future. I was on the Butler train, but it really does seem like Jimmy is more concern about lifestyle than winning.

A smart team would force the Heat to give up Winslow, or Bam.

Once again it's the Rockets who know the rules and have done the work, but nobody cares.
