Everyone is going to ignore this and not talk about the fact that we've been hearing about turmoil within the Rockets all off season. Yet, not once did we hear about OKC. Gotta pull out the media conspiracy meme for this one.

Thunder more than recouped the loss of PG IMO. They are in a better position than many teams in the trade market in the coming years. Considering the weak FA market next year, I think they might end up having a healthy rebuilding process.

Hope the Rockets Target Jerami Grant. He always destroys us and seems like a good fit for our team.

It's not the media's fault if some FOs can seal the leaks and others are inept and cannot.
OKC is notorious for not letting anything go out. Bravo to them.

The Rockets used to be very good at it as well, under previous ownership.

Its really not on the media... Thats what happens when you fire a bunch of people at once, your dirty laundry gets aired. Media was just reporting what the staff was telling them. OKC just kept thier stuff in-house.

The fact you dont think integrating rivers and house day 1 improves the team is nuts. We were the best team in the league post break. We wre fine. One depth big and a nice trade for a wing like iggy and we would be significantly deeper thus better. As it stands now we arent worse. We are the same but in a better spot going into the season. Should already gel and have chemistry unlike all these new pieces everywhere in utah, LA, dallas, etc

I personally think cp3 changes his game somewhat and has a better season.

So were better cause of Austin Rivers and Daniel House starting the season with us? Man this is going to be a rough year.

Rivers shouldn't even be playing if everyone one is healthy and House is the definition of an average role player.

Also CP3 will not be better he will be worse... Tucker is getting old, EGO is getting old and Capela the one guy that has to take a leap for us to have a shot is soft as a pillow. We were the 4th best team in the west last year, so just being the same team as last year isnt good enough. Hell we werent good enough 2 years ago and we are worse then we we're then.

no it means we were top of the west good last year and we will have the best of last year at bare minimum for the whole season this year. Should lead to a better record and seed.

and Believe it or Not we are going to get another player or two. Its day 6 of Free Agency. Sometimes things take time to iron out. Lakers are completely changing their team so who knows how it will work, Clippers have no real playmakers on their team(kawhi and george are basically the same thing, lou williams needs the ball to score, beverley is a shooting guard in a point guards body), The blazers who knows how nurkic will recover, and whiteside is a headcase where you have no idea if it works, Warriors are way worse for obvious reasons, Jazz are legitimately better, but did they really leap us, we were 10 fold better than them last year. The nuggets well......they are the nuggets , they fear us.

Its not all doom and gloom. Everyone team has a glaring flaw. Ours is size and rebounding. Im sure we will address some wing and front court depth at the minimum. The moves the rockets end up making are generally moves that you didnt hear anything about or think of. It just happens.

We have alot more problems than we just cant Rebound! We have zero movement off ball, we are entirely to predictable, Harden literally stands at half court sometimes when he doesnt have the ball, we shoot more threes then anyone yet we arent even elite at it, Capela is unplayable against Draymond Green, CP3 is a hamstring pull waiting to happen AND we have done nothing!

saying a player is an injury away. You could literally say that about every contender. The clippers are are a paul george shoulder away. The lakers are a lebron hamstring away. An AD always injured at some point away. The jazz are a conley injury away. That logic is idiotic. Capela unplayable? Well you must have missed previous warriors series then. Quit with the recency bias. Something was wrong with capela this offseason. The dude was way sicker or worse off than reported. He tried to fight through something.

The offense you are describing was one of the most efficient in the league by the way. Only to be beaten by GS in the playoffs. Those are things the current group can work on. That doesnt make us WORSE than last year. How does the offensive ball movement make us WORSE? You are grasping for straws out of frustration. Its ok let us realistic fans ease you back down to reality.

Now we know why Kawhi turned down the Lakers. Apparently they used Cousins as their pitch to improve the team and Kawhi was like "F that, that cat ain't winning anything anytime soon. Clippers it is"
