Let’s just cherish the two championships we got in the 90s because that’s about all we’re going to get.

I don't accept the notion that our window closed when we traded CP3. If our window is closed, then it closed when he pulled his hammy in Game 5 2018. Cause this year's team is certainly better than last year's team (so far).

Once the Harden era is over, I'm probably done as a Rocket's fan. I haven't lived in Houston for 30 years and Tillman is a horrible owner. I'll probably follow the team that Morey ends up at as long it's not the Lakers, Celtics, or Utah. I want see what Morey can accomplish if he's allowed to tank and spend luxury tax money. Imagine if Morey was allowed to run the Knicks or Nets.

Well that one did, for sure, but we should have waited until CP3s was expiring and tried to get another star with it.......instead we got a declining inefficient one - who is trying to fit in, but so far, is a bit of a square peg in a round hole.

Well, the choices weren't perfect to begin with.

Butler - better fit but huge diva, throws tantrums, questionable locker room guy. Shoots above average but not great.

Alternatives - Someone like Westbrook, flawed.

weirdly I’m in the same boat with you. I haven’t lived in Houston in 15 years. Stopped caring about the Astros and Texans but the Rockets always stuck around for me. If Tilman’s son does take over, I’m so done.

Or stay with CP3 as he fit perfectly....and have a sit down with Harden and CP3 - just like Charlie Thomas did with Hakeem on that plane to Japan years ago.

CP3 looks like a better “fit” on literally every team compared to Westbrook because of the style he plays, even when in reality, he isn’t.

My wish list for Christmas (so that the Rockets have legitimate aspirations to win the championship): A) A PF/SF who can defend and score three-point shots. B) That Westbrook stop forcing three-point shots and focus his game on attacking the basket and passing the ball. C) That Harden becomes a true leader.
Thanks and wish you all the best!

Morey's arrogance has definitely been as hurtful to this team as his greatest successes due to his ingenuity.

Nah. Unless you're talking about the team's profits this year because of the China thing, but something tells me that Tilman would be making the same financial decisions regarding the roster even if that tweet had never been sent.
