When he becomes a rocket? Sorry for boozer haters, but this makes sense to me. Boozer is about to be amnestied. We are weak at the PF position. Boozer would be an expiring contract and we wouldn't have to pay much (maybe a $3m bid) and we get a good offensive player with a good midrange jumper. Sure his defense sucks but with Beverley, Ariza and Howard, we can afford two other starters who are offense only players. He won't affect our cap and is savvy. Given the defense offense balance, a lineup of Beverley Harden Ariza Boozer Howard Is actually decent. Or am I crazy? I know I hate him too but I think he still has value.
It hasn't been done yet, but it's the only thing that can be done. The Bulls are using their MLE and BAE. This means they can't drop below the cap. So in order to pay Gasol more than the vet min (Gasol has agreed to a 3 year $22 million deal), it has to be a SnT with the Lakers. And the only way the Lakers do it is if they are getting sufficient assets in return.

most people on here dont watch the other teams in the nba, and only focus on the rockets which in understandable... but i would love add a PF that can play defense, and average 14 and 8 a night for us, and bring that vet leadership that this team needs, i dont care what anyone says, boozer plays with heart, and in the playoffs, you need that more than you need skill. Im all for boozer, at the right price ofcourse. Would give us a very, very respectable starting 5.
I don't give a **** as long as he helps us, he's overpaid in CHI but it's not like he doesn't try. That's the only you can be justified in boo'ing, imo.(As far as your home team)
