You gotta assume the people that say we can get Jimmy Butler for a package of Ryno and Melton and whatever picks are no older than 14 years, maybe 15 year olds. Ok that’s not true actually when I was like early 20s I read a ridiculous rumour about us trading for Richard Jefferson and wanted to believe it. I forgot the site that had the rumour; it was similar to hoopshype only all false. Hoopdome? Anyway point being if you’re knowledgeable about the NBA you know we’re not getting Jimmy Butler. EDIT: It wasn’t hoopdome. Damn it what was it?!?
I think it is extremely unlikely we get Butler. That said, stranger things have happened, and crazy moves tend to happen when you are a championship contender, especially in the current NBA.
Melton was taking 46th in the draft and yet so many people are acting like they’re so sure he’s gonna be good “he’s a stud,” “he’s untouchable,”...dude hasn’t even played an NBA game yet...relax
Morey would be the king of the GM's if he could somehow get Butler on this team. Golden St would piss their pants every time we came to town.
I would see wolves dealing him elsewhere for more value before HOU. But who knows maybe couple picks, Anderson and a promising young player Melton and zhou could get the job done. Morey gonna morey
