To be a viable NBA player he needs to hit the 3 at a high clip.

Second half of the season.. he has not.

Didn't see the game but the stat line says he played a near perfect game. Casspi should stop trying to be the annoying american yuppie and be himself.

Casspi never was at the end of the roster. He has been right on the edge of the active rotation, the third on the depth chart at both the SF and PF spots. Tonight, Parsons missed the game, so Hamilton filled in as starter and Casspi got bumped into Hamilton's backup SF spot.

Houston is at the moment in avery good situation concerning forwards. TJones, Parsons, Hamilton, D-Mo and Casspi are all useful players concerning the playoffs. Parsons has had some health issues here and there, but generally it seems that they all will be available.

Asik has not yet shown his potential in action on a constant basis, which may require some minutes of D-Mo at the center. I think the issue is more about Garcia playing behind Harden. JLin has not been too convincing lately at the 2 spot and he's struggling to make the 3-pt shot.

Hamilton may get some additional minutes at the 2 spot. Hamilton appears to be somewhat trigger happy, which is OK as long as he his the 3-pointer. In the Pistons game he was not making his 3-pointers, but I don't think he lost his confidence yet.

D-Mo has improved significantly, but he is not yet an effective scorer. He's beginning to rebound better (without fouling).

The bottom line is that the Rockets are in a very good shape concerning the wings and in the end they will all play minutes. What worries me more concerning the playoffs is the PG situation and the backup center situation especially when Smith appears to be out for the season. As long as Dwight and Bev stay healthy, the situation is under control, but it is on thin ice.
