Why can I not search, search users posts, give rep, rate thread, etc.?

This thread should go in the feedback forum at the bottom of the main page. Contribute a reasonable amount, not $2. Could be 25, 30, 50, etc. Clutch usually isn't picky about it.


If you've contributed and haven't received contributing member status, it's probably because you didn't include your username with your donation. In some cases, it's just a slip up, as Clutch has a lot to do. Just remind him in the feedback section. You can bump up a relevant thread or something.

I truly am baffled by the amount of people who say they contributed and didn't get contributing member privileges. I had totally the opposite experience, when I contributed I received the privileges almost instantaneously. If you've had a different experience, I suggest you email Clutch to get your situation resolved. I don't recommend publicizing your situation to everyone here on this board! If Clutch has somehow forgotten a FRIENDLY reminder will help your cause further than venting publicly.

It's weird. I didn't have the privilege before. But I recently bought a Windows 8 machine. And voila. I'm able to search and edit now.

 

Member for 14 years and can't search and edit? Really f'ing weak, wow

 

damn.. time to invest in a new career path
