As u can see our superstar Harden is durable as hell. U see this guy is also durable as hell. Has to guard the toughest assignment, plays almost the most mins on the team, and is like the oldest. He's not the new brewer, u guys need to get new glasses. Out of the whole team, new brewer is probably dekker or lou will. Call me an Ariza fan, sure I'm just getting tired of some ungrateful fans bashing on Ariza for not making threes. Ariza is the glue guy, bev is the heart/soul, harden is the mvp. Glue guy making threes is just bonus. First Thread, was gonna save it for something special, but need to Defend Ariza from these haters.
When u consider the net effect was taking Ariza over Parsons for much less money - what an amazing set of circumstances especially considering how parsons has fallen of the map with injuries, lack of effort, bad attitude. Bonus: Bet you won't ever see Ariza licking and sucking on a guy's nipples.
Ariza and Bev are basically the only reasons we are not 30th in defensive rating. However, Ariza is playing too many minutes. We need to give him one more timely breather. He is dramatically worse when he's tired, but he loves playing and never complains and almost never shows signs of being tired.
i been saying for about 10k years ariza plays way too many minutes. look at minutes leaders now,and past two years and see who's there. top 5 both him and harden till this year, now harden making up for ariza falling out of top 5 by playing the most minutes. these 2, along with bev until this season, have played WAAAAAAAAAAY too many minutes. i dunno how thye dont get hurt. neither hsould be that high esp this season. harden maybe that high but not this season with all the help. i thought mda was gonna be on top of this.

the signs are in his play, not in his behavior. he's a high 20s guy, low 30s if the team needs it. top 5-10 every year in minutes is not where he belongs.
I agree that he's being overplayed, 35 min/game is just a tough load to burden season after season. This team could really use a Jared Dudley type as a 3 who can play the 4, but Dekker is reasonable for now.
35 mins per game is superstar numbers lol, the main reason Ariza is bricking is he is already getting old and he plays high intensity bball. As others have said we need another SF wing, either one who is better than Ariza (ie a star) or another 3 and D guy who can split time with him. I was hoping Dekker was gonna be that guy but I'll have to wait till next year to see if he can do that, this year he's not really a good defender nor a good 3 pt shooter.
But never forget Beverly is a fraud and people have grown to hate Ariza Our perimeter defense would be 24 hr fitness like if we lost these two important cogs. That is why it doesn't bother me too much when Ariza is bricking 3's. He is streaky like that but one thing for sure is that he will bring it defensively every night. That hustle play where he fell to the ground and stole the ball last night was incredible As for Bev, he has the heart of a champion. Important cog in this machine. But still apparently Samuel dekker needs to start ahead of Ariza SMH
lol interesting to note dekker NBA player comparison is Ariza, but no one notice that by with that logic dekker = Ariza, who we all claim is new brewer. So in reality they saying dekker = New brewer, they just don't realize it. Dekker has great vision, sht playmaking, don't see him creating shots, solid defender, sht 3pts/rebound, high energy player, Gud finisher, by this description dekker is basically Brewer 2.0, but ariza doing the grunt heavy min work is new brewer just cause he misses threes
