Shawn Marion was the number one pick before.

But he has proven to be a player worth trading for.

Eddie Griffin seems to have the same build as Shawn Marion.

Will he be able to deliver as Marion has for the Phoenix Suns?

Sorry, the obvious typo ---Shawn Marion was not the number one pick.

But will E.Griffin be as good as Marion?

I'll answer the question while I still have my lofty post count - Griffin is superior to Marion in every aspect of the game, without a doubt. We just got a damn superstar without touching the core of our team. Relish in this moment.

Pass me some o' that relish!

What's even better is not only did we not lose part of our core, but we did not gain ridiculous salaries or stiffs in the process. Think of it as : "You had 45 wins last year. Now here's Eddie Griffin and Terence Morris."

    Weeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I was going to draw the same comparision. They both have long bodies and are tenacious rebounders. Who's better? I don't know, but I'll be very satisfied if Griffin plays like Marion plays(hold the injuries).
