I loved Von. I'll always remember him amd Artest on the scorers table after losing to the Lakers in the playoffs.

    Awesome call by Bill

Loved that bench unit with Brooks (then Lowry, after we traded Alston), Wafer, Landry and Hayes

Awesome stuff! Too bad he was immature and was all athleticism. He probably would’ve done better today than back then. His game winner is still one of my favourite moments of all-time, love these players coming out of nowhere, underdogs who are just loved by fans and get hyped up like crazy.

He was so humble during the interview and was so insightful on his career that it makes me so upset the Rockets never resigned him. He was very deserving.

Very interesting interview! Before the interview, I was thinking Von Wafer had some similarities to Kevin Porter Jr...not in terms of playing style but in terms of attitude, personality and potential. It's crazy that in the interview he compared himself to Porter Jr. Unlike Porter Jr, it was difficult to give Wafer playing time. Since Brooks, Artest, Battier, Barry and Lowry were on the team, finding time for Von Wafer was difficult

I always felt like the Rockets should've resigned him. He had tons of potential. It's crazy that he was only asking for 3 years at $3million/year for the extension. He mentioned that when the Rockets found money to resign David Anderson, he felt like it was time to move on.

Yeah that 2009 Rockets team was pretty deep in regards to our back court. However, I do believe Adelman could’ve found a spot in the rotation for him if it weren’t for his youthful attitude. I just loved the passion and emotion he brought to the game…a literal spark plug that can come in and score in bunches. When David Anderson gets your money, it’s definitely time to go so I respect his decision…it hurt though I’m ngl about that lol
