I'm talking about coaching hires, player acquisitions, and salary cap management. We all know this is the current brain trust of the organization in basketball matters. So who do you have the least confidence in?

    1. Re-sign Brewer.
    2. Don't re-sign Smoove.
    3. Fire McHale
    4. Trade Thornton.
    5. Don't re-sign Dwight.
    6. Trade for Lawson.
    7. Try to sign Durant.

These are a few Harden would have made on his own and pulled for them to be made. Clear enough?

I don't have much confidence in any of them after this past season. Right now the Rockets organization is the laughing stock of the NBA.

I think the stipulations that Morey put on the Lawson trade shows us clear as day that while he will listen intently to Harden's wishes, and sometimes will even allow him to think that he's making the call, there is no question in my mind that if he's going to do a Harden driven move, he's going to make sure its on his terms. If Morey didn't have control of the situation, Lawson wouldn't have had the 2nd year nonguaranteed, had the pick protection, and the deal would have happened much much sooner.

Its pretty naive to think that Harden is truly making the calls here. He's ALLOWED to give his opinion, and his opinion is listened to as any smart team would do with their star. Whether or not you think they should listen to his opinions is another thing.

Morey is the only one to be trusted during this time giving the fact that he needs to prove his worth. i mean he is getting paid to make good choices i think he will make the right coaching decision and i think he will make the right pick ups les needs to let his employees work and harden gets only a small say cause he needs to be the leader of the teams so he needs to like the coach and players but ultimately we need to just trust morey and fire him if it goes bad.

Definitely Les, although Morey is a close second with some of the moves he's made over the last couple seasons. I think Les' entire philosophy of starchasing and trying to go for quick fixes without ever building through the draft has led to nearly 2 decades of mediocrity.

Misread the question as trust to make the decisions and voted Morai, should have voted Harden.

You can't even trust Harden to make good decisions on the court.

Tie between Les and Harden. It's Morey's job to make decisions. Harden's job is to play basketball. Leslie is simply the owner. I can't choose between Leslie and Harden because Leslie has been around this business for much more longer than James, but James is the one on the court actually engaging with the other players. Plus Harden would likely know who he'd want to build around himself but it could also be his downfall if he were to make the decisions
