Dont really care much because my focus is the astros but my entire dads side of the family grew up around chicago and were cubs fans (except my dad and gpa were the only white sox fans) so i guess id prefer cubs. @don grahamleone and @BigMaloe make me feel like a bad son for not embracing my dads white sox and my grandpas bears lol
im houston or gtfo reallly lol. for me it's a connection to the city more than a connection to the franchise or family members but I totally get any other kind of scenario haha. the only thing I remember about the braves is the astros beating them when we were in the national league haha
Cubs fans are the least educated about baseball and by far the most obnoxious. The Nats could give us issues in the playoffs with that rotation and line up. We all know the Dodgers are a handful. If I had to face one, I think we match up best against the Cubs. They don't hit good pitching well either.
No to the Nats, I think we steamroll both the Cubs and Dodgers. Regardless of the Dodgers record, I never thought they were better than us once our guys got healthy. Kershaw was still dog **** in his playoff start this year after having a career of nothing but embarrassing outings, he doesn't scare me. Darvish is their playoff ace, but he's not better than Keuchel or Verlander right now. Cubs, we're just better. Nats have the offense and pitching to beat us in 6.
Don't particularly care. Any one of them could win the WS, the better team does not always win it. From a pure "it would be fun to play them" standpoint: Dodgers/Cubs/Nats
Not particularly rooting for anyone but it would sort if be cool if the Astros were to win the World Series against the three "historic" teams (Red Sox, Yankees and Cubs). Plus, the Cubs are easily my least favorite out of the remaining NL teams so it would be nice to beat them. Plus, as a salty Astros fan, it would sort be like payback (in my mind) for having to play the Cubs in Milwaukee in 2008 after Ike. So ya the Cubs I guess.
Yep. Remember he was blamed for ruining Prior and Wood. Today was just a complete collapse. Something Dusty knows all to well.
