    he's as weak as they get when it comes to playing guitar. I like their music though. But I don't get these bands that think they can get by without a bassist.

    think they can get by? I think the White Stripes are "getting by" and them some. If they were a typical three-piece band the "hype machine" wouldn't have been nearly as kind.
