Larry Bird, Larry Brown, Don Nelson and Mike Dunleavy look saved despite disappointing records for the moment. My gut feel will be kings' Reggie Theus. They are getting thrashed by the Knicks now.....
Larry Bird and Sam Presti aren't coaches. In fact, Presti is the G.M. of the Thunder who fired P.J. Carlesimo. I agree Theus is the next coach on the chopping block. Iavaroni should be added to your list.
Iavaroni is supposedly on the hot seat but I think it's going to be Nelson of the Warriors especially if he doesn't turn it around when Ellis comes back.
Here are the remaining coaches I think could be fired before the end of the season: Mark Iavaroni. Very likely gone. My choice to be next. Don Nelson. But he has recently snuggled up to ownership. As someone already said, Nellie needs to turn it around when Monta Ellis returns. Jim O'Brien. At 7-16, he's at risk, deserving or not. If the Pacers have a long slide... Lawrence Frank. No reason to fire him unless they nosedive. Dunleavy. Is now in full control but at 6-17 with some combustable players, he's gone by next summer at the latest.
