The Colts have to be the favorite going in to this year. Andre, Ty, Moncrief, ALLEN/Fleener, Gore..... They are going to destroy us if we don't improve our defense. Damn.
I love Andre, but this is literally the only place I wouldn't cheer for him if/when the Texans are eliminated. Screw the Colts--hope they go 0-16. Sorry Andre, you had 30 valid choices
This is very similar to if Hakeem had left the Rockets for the Jazz or Spurs. Of course, he wasn't a ***** about it so he went to the Raptors instead.
F'ing Colts I swear. If they weren't sooo lucky Peyton's neck gave out the exact year Luck declared for the draft that franchise would be no where. I mean seriously what were the chances. ARGHGEW@#R#RVDFAV
can't blame AJ for going to the team with the second best QB in the AFC. looks like another sweep of the Texans and a division title for IND.
I ain't mad at cha, dre. the first jersey i got my son was when he was 5 months and it was dre jersey. cool story breh. =)
He could have gotten 7 mil a year from a lot of teams, in fact, he had 7 teams asking about him. He picked the Colts as a F you to Houston.
Ugh...Andre.....lol. Here's to a repeat of 2014 for Andre. The sooner the forum's banner is changed....the better. Puke...
That was likely yesterday, too. I honestly don't think the Clts are appreciably better. They're not worse; but it feels more lateral. Dumping $11MM into Gore and Johnson is not by any stretch the worst possible outcome, from a Texan perspective. Their OL is still an issue; their defense didn't get better.
or maybe he wanted to go to a team that will pay him 7 mil a year AND has a great QB and one game away from the Super Bowl?
all that may be true, but the x-factor is Andrew Luck who masks plenty of their deficiencies. Gore and AJ are a upgrade from the players previously in their respective positions.
The only three playoff teams from last year with more cap space than the Colts: Bengals (no), Paxckers (no), Chargers (no). I'm sure the Colt/Texan angle provided a nice cherry on top. But Andre Johnson wanted to get paid. He's been whinning about his '15 $10MM salary for a year now.
