I am getting sick and tired of watching Yao have guys wrestling for olympic gold when he trys to establish position on the low block. I am all for physical basketball but J**** C*****, this is absurd! If you so much as touch a guy driving to the hoop its a foul, but appearantly you're allowed to grab, hold, twist, kick, whatever else you want on the low block. NO FREE THROWS last night! IF any of you taped the game watch the tape and focus solely on Yao and tell me this is not absurd. Sorry for the rant but this is absolute B*** S***!

you're absolutely right. they only protect little b**** boys like pau gasol.

yao ming should be the nba's golden boy instead of that loser lebron james.

Write Stern. Maybe he wants to merge the NBA with one of the wrestling leagues to improve attendance and sales of merchandise. This whole product called the NBA just seems so fake anymore - the Spurs flopping all ALL of the time, and Bowen never ever being suspended for flagrants over the years, makes their results nothing but a manufactured product of the Stern Organization. Then the refs live in casinos and nothing is done. It seems like Les just isn't paying enough protection money to some secret fund Stern has, so Yao gets screwed. Come on Les, open up the check book.

I am so disappointed in this league as it becomes more and more fake.

Today's NBA is a Guard's game now. The rules are in favor of the guards. Why do you think they just started allowing zone defense in the past few years? Guys like Dream and Shaq were just too dominant down there. Then they put in Zone defense to stop all that. Before, you couldn't double a man before he got the ball, it would have been "illegal defense".

But now, with the Zone, its almost like anything goes down there. I said this before and I'll say it again, Zone defense is killing the NBA. This is not college ball, this is the NBA. Grown ass men should be playing Man-to-Man defense.

This is not an excuse for poor refs. These refs suck!

This might sound crazy to many of you now...and maybe it is, but I would definitely have done it EARLIER in Yao's career. But RA should allow YAO to foul out of a game or two in the first quarter. Maybe a few more games. Just let the REFS show how biased and unfair they are so that it will become big news on the sports channels. Fouling out the best center in the league for a few games will get over 200 million viewers writing and complaining to the NBA! Think they won't listen then when their huge China financial market starts to hate the NBA because of their bias against Yao?

I would do the same thing with Scola also, just let him play when they call those cheap fouls against him early in the quarters. Dont take him out and tell him to continue to be agressive and you don't care if he fouls out. We are gonna lose some games anyway, so why not get them over with because maybe it will clean up the refs act and allow us to be able to play these other teams fairly come playoff time. The worst thing to do is only whine about it and let it continue on until it costs us a playoff game or even worse going home for the season unfilled with a playoff series loss.

Let's get the tv media on our side by allowing the refs to foul out these guys early, so that the media will make an issue about it. They they will show replays of all the fouls called on them, and all the fouls not called against them when they are being hacked all game long...especially YAO. That will embarass the NBA and they will have to talk to the refs to clean it up. Then YAO and Scola can both have a level playing field and with Tmac back in the lineup, we can go on a long winning streak; if RA gets his EGO in check and head out of his butt! :D

If it's anything goes down there, how come guys like Gasol and Duncan get foul calls when they are wrestled.

Seriously I think they should investigate last night's game. It had a Donaghy(sp?) feel to it.

seriously...this is getting annoying. oberto and yao were going at it to see who was going to get in front of each other. all this is happening at the expense of our clock because rafer or head is holding the ball to throw it to yao..

uh if it was any guard or small forward in the league on offense and they were being interfered with to that extent to gain position then a foul would be called on the defender......unless it was Bruce Bowen defending TMac.

Also if Yao defended an opposing center in the same manner he is defended he would foul out in about 5 minutes.

I love watching Bowen push Tmac in the small of the back as often as he can when Tmac makes a move away from Bowen to initiate a play. No hand checking is allowed on perimeter players - except Tmac and esp. by Spurs.

Bruce Bowen has how many game suspensions for flagrant fouls?

Yao had zero foul shots last night. What a fair league.

It's amazing that Yao gets called for 4 fouls every game. It's a wrestling match only on the offensive end, when Yao holds his arms up and jumps straight up, then it's a foul on him and 2 free throws for Boozer, or insert opposing team's center/pf.

For just once, I would like to see Yao wrestle, push, kick, and elbow Duncan, and not get called for one foul in the game. When Duncan complains about being kicked, the refs tell him the same thing Yao was told. "It wasn't intentional" and call a kick ball on Duncan.

T-Mac doing flying kicks and elbows against Bowen and not called for the foul.

On big 'accidental' elbow by Yao would stop all this nonsense once and for all.

This F***ing kills me, I hate when tha above quote happens. I don't know what to do but something has to be done about this. I don't think i am a homer either. My wife grew up in AZ, she is Suns fan and even she is screaming at the TV half the game. If the refs called games fairly then we might have one loss.
