I love sniffing trash bags as much as the next guy, but I don't like hearing about it evertime I click a new thread.
The same problem here with the commercial for some TV show. It repeats every 30 seconds. Booming loud. "The American dream is built on..." over and over. Please make it stop.
Recently these auto-play ads on all pages are becoming a pain. Some of the ads do not have volume controls, which is BS. The Glad Bags ad is an example. Nissan Altima is another. Both of which have played while I have type this message. I really do not want to hear any of these ads, unless I explicitly hover over them.
Sorry Clutch, but these auto plays and flash ads are making the site hard to even visit at work or on my phone at home. Every other page I seem to get a script error which crashed the page and the auto plays are freakishly loud and annoying.
Becoming a problem for me too. My whole browser is bogging down from these things and I keep getting errors that have to reload the whole page.
Seems like video ads are on every page now. If I'm at work and I forget to plug headphones/mute speakers they will just go off.
I'm having the exact same problems at work. I hoping that this is only a temporary thing and not the norm from here on out. I love CF's, and I wish things get resolved soon. ....... ....... .......
Sorry guys... this has been a hard thing to identify (since I wasn't getting them) but I spent most of the morning tracking it down (I believe). There was a network allowing autoplay videos -- some changes were just made and I'm hoping this will remove this problem over the next 24 hours.

I got some sort of loud techno music going on this morning. I was at work so had to shut it down quick - not sure what it was.
Seems to have stopped now. I haven't gotten one in the last half hour or so I've been browsing during lunch.
still getting them. i tend to browse w/ volume turned down just for this eventuality, but they're also significantly slowing down page loads and scrolling, at least on my system.
The internet crashes at work every time I try to log into CF's.....only on CF's. My body is NOT ready! I've lost the feeling on the right side of my body and it doesn't look good! I'm afraid the transformation has started and I'll eventually become a narcissistic individual who takes pleasure in putting 21 periods at the end of his posts! ....... ....... .......
