I accidently picked hot dogs, but I meant to say hamburgers. Hot dogs are very common throughout Europe. Hamburgers are only good in America

I consider a hot dog more northern, and burger more southern (especially those Texas sized burgers!)

Hot dogs/sausage (or something similar) have been in pretty much every society since the dawn of time. I'd say hamburgers are, even though they're named after a German town. Hmm... where's the option for neither? :D

She's not letting me reply at all in the thread so I don't give away my preference.

America is a melting pot, in which was thrown thousands of different nationalities/cultures/languages.

A hot dog is born of this melting pot, in which was thrown thousands of different snouts/hooves/entrails.

A hamburger can theoretically (though not in practice) be made from just one cow. One stupid cow. How American is that?

    Winner: hot dog.
