What would it take to get Aaron Rodgers from Green Bay? Would they consider it for all of our picks in this year's and next year's draft?

Or maybe you want a different top 5 QB... What do you think it would take?

Let's face it, as long as Rick Smith is around, those picks have a high probability of being worthless busts... Why not trade a ton of picks for a superstar QB and take a shot at the Super Bowl for the next 2-3 years?

Certain people in the NFL are untradable. Rodgers or any top 5 QB would be one of them. Unless the rest of the team was so bad they couldn't win with said quarterback. That would probably never be the case, though, considering how much offense drives the league.

There's got to be a line somewhere... Obviously they would trade Rodgers for all of our picks in the next 10 drafts.

What's the value of a top 5 QB in terms of draft picks?

    Would they?

I'm serious. You're taking a gamble in trading away what is probably one of the all time greats, who has probably another good 10 years or so of a career left.

You'd be alienating your fan base. A fan base that is involved in their daily operations of their team more so than any other in the league.

I honestly don't think they would. You could draft a quarterback ten years in a row in the first round, and never hit hard enough to make it back to where you are now. Look at the Browns.

Either you only just spent your time smoking weeds and getting laid in college or you are really not that smart,

    or could be both.

Otherwise you can ask yourself a simple question : how many QB are better than Rodgers in the last 10 drafts?

    I steal Nick Wright's idea from SR610,

I'd send my 1st rounder for every year Rodgers is my starter.

Obviously, this would never happen, but you can only dream.

    1) Hilarious thread

    2) We could offer the Packers Watt, Clowney, Hopkins, our first round pick, NASA, and Harden to the Bucks. They'd say no.

The GB fanbase would be up in arms.
Knowing our luck, he would break his leg anyway.

Probably three first round picks and J.J Watt. I 'm more interested in what it would take to get Matt Stafford, he has a real Carson Palmer in Cincinnati look right now, he needs a change of scenery. Contract for next year is 17mil, I think two second rounders could do it. I would only want this done if Rick Smith is fired cause with a big time qb on a big contract and JJ on his contract, this team is going to have to produce quality drafts and find quality free agents and Rick Smith has proven that he can do that on a consistent bases

You'd have to switch franchises. The GB owner might do it if he got control of the Texans outright in exchange for GB. That's the only way to start the conversation. But I don't even know who owns GB, they have a weird setup completely, so basically it's impossible to even bring that up. Impossible to even bring up the impossible.
