Mostly to see if they are playing well and to see who will get to play. McHale's line-ups have been interesting so far.
I haven't watched a game this yr. I can't root against them. But I don't see enough upside to build on. So...I'm reluctantly in the tank camp. And it hurts to admit that. I'm in limbo. In purgatory. Currently watching more Heat games. Them I CAN root against!
Lately I will pick one player to follow for a few series. Often this is to look at his individual and help defense. Does he make his opponent take difficult shots? Does he box out for boards? Does he make good decisions, like where to go after being picked? Lately I'm picking backups like Twill, Parsons, Dragic, Ppat to watch their D. Offense is similar, but I'm often looking at our flow during a half-court set. Do the players know where to go, do they act decisively, and do they set up good shots? Our second unit often looks pretty bad in this area, unfortunately. This season looks like a good chance to watch underdeveloped players play and get more experience. And that's fun for me, even if the end result isn't always a win.
agreed!! if we're in "developmental" mode why not give Morris time on the court to improve his game? he doesn't belong in the D-League.
I've watched some great, good and even mediocre Rockets bball games. What I'm watching this season is simply just unwatchable. Worst coaching scheme I've ever seen out of a Rockets team. Really, it's pathetic. This is the only year I've turned off several games not because they were losing but because they were playing the worst brand of basketball possible.
Sports. If I have a choice between long distance cross country skiing and "reality" TV, I choose sports.
love watch our D-League roster and 09ers play! lol not really The 2009ers leading the way for the Rio Grand Valley Rockets !!
My wife. I changed the channel and she made me put it back. Maybe she like looking at their butts, I'll have to ask her.
Haven't had access to watching the good guys this season But if I did, the thought of us getting a top lottery pick would keep me interested.
Do you know the bottom of the screen where they scroll "call 713-TICKETS" yeah, that's what keeps me entertained.
