I'm the number one Lakers hater maybe on the planet but the bubble chip counts. In season tournament means more than a normal regular season game but less than a winning a playoff round. Summer league championship means absolutely nothing because none of the best players play after 3 days.

Thanks for the mention I think I've posted about it what, five or six times? Maybe seven? In response to ongoing conversations on the board over the past several weeks. Not like I'm going around there writing walls of text about how stupid other people are for having a differing opinion, *cough, cough*. But sure.

 

The IST is it's own thing. It'll matter more and more as the years go by. Maybe it'll include European teams one day.

The bubble championship is not equivalent to a normal championship. It was as if a 26k marathon began and had to end at 17 kms and finished months later with a 3 km race.

The Summer League Championship was fun this year.
