What happened to our beautiful fast break/3-point barrage offense? I'm curious if anyone can analyze why we are not playing anywhere close to what we once used to be like. We just look slow, tired, unmotivated.

    What am I missing?

If we have little to fall back on (offensive sets, mid-range game, etc.) coaches will prepare against the fast-break and 3-point barrage.

    Prepare! Imagine that!

Patrick Beverley is obviously underrated when it comes to running the offense. We really miss him.

But we didn't have him for the first half of last year and still did alright. He never started for us last year until the playoffs.

Our offense is just suckier this year. It still feels like we don't know if we wanna be a Harden team or a Dwight team. So far when Harden has gone off, we have done worse this year.

You mean the offense that is right now the 3rd best in the NBA?

My bad, Bev averages 2.2 asts, he actually runs the offense...sometimes...
His 2.2 asts are sorely missed.

It just doesn't flow right now. Over the last month it's looked sluggish. I'm asking because it's what can make us elite come playoff time. Right now we are winning but we ain't dominating like we can. So, what's different about? Or am I statistically wrong? Are my eyes deceiving me?

We cannot run fast breaks because we can't secure rebound just by our bigs, Dwight goes for blocks so his man often time gets the off rebounds, so the rest of the team has to help rebounding, therefore, they can't run fast breaks for those situations. We can only run fast breaks during opponents' turnovers.

And Lin not in the starting line up drops our pace as well.

Bev moves around a lot off the ball, Harden and Lin are both static, he drags defenders and creates openings

We are 6-3 when Harden scores 30 or more and 11-5 when he scores 25 or more.

People can't blame Rocket's poor 3 point shooting all on a slump. They just don't seem to be getting consistently good shots.

True, albeit his iso's seem much better this season. His midrange game has improved a lot this season
