What ever happened to Maarty Leunen and Brad Newley?

    I was going over the players which Rockets own the rights to...what happened to Maarty Leunen and Brad Newley? Are these guys good enough to bring over right now or in the future? Or will they go down as Malick Badiane 2.0?

    I doubt we ever see these guys..... I thought Leunen always played good for us in Summer Leagues...

    Leunen is a stretch 4 :) But athletically and physically he is so far away even from a 2Pat or a Morris that it's unlikely he'll ever come, unless he gets to Steve Novak from 3s level (which isn't likely).

    Maarty Leunen is still in the Rockets system.

    Has played with Pallacanestro Cantù (Italy) for three
    seasons (2009-12), averaging 9.5 points and 4.8
    rebounds in 37 games in 2011-12 …

    Oh, so is Brad Newley.

    Joined Valencia BC (Spain) in Jan. 2012 … signed with
    Lithuanian champion Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius for
    2010-11 … was a Lithuanian Basketball League
    All-Star in 2011 … participated with Australia in the
    FIBA World Championship 2010 in Turkey … played
    with Besiktas ColaTurka Istanbul (Turkey) in 2009-10,
    averaging 17.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in
    28 Turkish League games

    Rockets also own the rights to Furkan Aldemir, Axel Hervelle, Jon Diebler, and of course Sergio Llull.
