    Same here. What year is yours?
    Decent car btw, but the V4 engine revs up loudly and tends to hum a lot.

    18.5 City and about 22 or 23 Highway

    Luckily I live 2 miles from the office.

    My wife's 04 Accord gets much better gas mileage

    07 Ford 500 - about 21-22 MPG

    pretty nice ...the 500 is a big car, drives heavy, plus I use ****ty gas consistent w/ my employer's request ....im amazed it does so well

    well be moving on to an Escape by the end of the year

    my brother in law said the same thing. He had a 2006 TL I think and then he sold it and bought a 2006 Maxima. He said he gets better mileage in the TL than the Maxima.


    Paying for premium fuel sucks.

    Yeah, Im pretty surprised with the mileage on my TL

    2008 TL - 28-29mpg (80% highway driving)

    24-25 (about a 50/50 mix of city/highway driving)

    98 BMW 323is 25-26mpg
    06 BMW M5 11-15mpg (depending on how I drive though... got 9.5mpg last tank... was a fun tank though)

    My wife has a Hummer H3. We calculated 16.5 MPG.
    My old Mustang gets about 18.


    Speaking of which, a guy at work just had to overhaul and replace all the batteries in his Prius. Cost him about $3,800. Its only 4 years old or so. The guy at the dealership said the batteries only last 4-5 years max. It basically ate away all his gas savings. Has anybody else had this experience?

    first ive heard of. as of now i would rather get a honda civic or something and wait for plug in electric cars
