Last month I sold my 97 150 Lariat and now drive a 99 Monte Carlo LS. (didn't need 8 cylinders - of course, everybody but me misses that truck).

Funny, I just got back from a Honda/Suzuki dealer and am thinking about getting on a bike again. :D

Ahhjeah, my Mr. JB knows what he's talking about.

    99 Tacoma. It's a four banger though. I rather have it in a V6.

Funny how we become our dads later on, huh? Next thing you know, you'll be wearing those quarter-top boots that has a zipper on the side of it. Oh crap! It's official then, I have become my dad........:D

That's actually the best way to get great deals! My uncle bought this big azz house in First Colony becuz of a divorce. It had a pool, hard-wood floors, etc. And all of for half of what it was actually worth. Lucky b*stard(both of you guys)........:D

I would be like my Dad, too, if I could afford it. Of course, he's a sports car guy and traditionally has been a Porsche driver (though he did just finish a Mercedes SL600 lease).

He also collects antique and classic cars. Last time I saw him, he was driving around in a Hemi 'Cuda.

He owns some station wagons, too, of course. He's actually got a few Woodies (and he used to have an ambulance from the '50s. Sold it to that guy from San Antonio who owns Coastal Trucking, though).

I think I actually may be more "Dad-like" than my Dad since I made a point to purchase a sedan and fretted about things like gas mileage and other reliability issues.

At his age, I hope he still can, especially since he's on-the-market again (maybe. We're all hoping the current separation from his wife, the Anti-Christ, becomes a divorce soon enough).

What can I say, engineering internships pay well and student loans are given at very reasonable rates. :)
