What are the qualities necessary to be an "all-star" clutchcity bbs poster?

    God I'm bored with the lack of interesting topics here on the BBS.. so here is my 2 cents...
    We've seen so many "experts" evaluating the talent of basketball players on this BBS, maybe we should make a good use of these analytical ability of our posters... so here it goes...What do you guys think are the qualities necessary to be an " All-star" caliber poster on clutchcity BBS site? Once we determine the criteria we can start evaluating the talents here on the BBS... :D

    I'll say to be at the "all-star" level, you need to have both quality and quantity.

    It is easier to measure quantity

    - number of posts per day & total post counts (oh my god, I just checked & some poster will reach freaking 14000 in 2 days :eek: )

    How to measure contructs like quality?

    1. respectable quality

    2. entertaining quality

    3. star power / special identity

    4. intelligence & knowledge

    thoughts?

    If you do hang out with Francis, Mobley etc... please ask them to give us some insider info of the uni's and logo's & tell them to checkout clutchbbs for some honest feedbacks regarding their skills.... we are waiting! :D

    we are not getting very far... ok, so let's ask the question... if there is ever a bbs competition, what roster should represent clutchcity bbs & who deserves to be on the clutchcity bbs all-star team if it's a 12 men roster? who's the starting five? why?

    I'd say the first thing that makes an all star poster an all star is that he/she doesn't care that he/she is an all star.

    Second, it sounds like you are just trying to fit in here. There are plenty of people that will get to know you as a poster over time. Volume is not important. Everyone here is trying to come up with something new. Seeing that you are new, you cannot possibly discifer between new thoughts and old. Listen to what people b**** about: redundant posts, stupid(very very stupid) ideas and posters that have a chip on their shoulder. Don't do that.

    Read 30 posts or so before you decide to post yourself. You may find out that what you wanted to post is just not worth posting. Oh, and use paragraphs.

    And then post drunk. Or a picture of yourself drunk. Both are exceptable.

    Thanks for the advice, but I'll appreciate that we keep this thread for discussing the topic & not about me or another newbie trying to fit in etc (that's not my purpose at all)... god I've seen enough & sick of these newbie discussions...
