Right. That's why it's hard to make any judgement on his playoff stats. Hey might be horrible forever in the playoffs or it could just be a statistical fluke for 9 games at the end of a few seasons. There are tons of guys who have bad playoff runs that end up having great ones later. You just can't make any real evaluations on 9 games or 10 games.

Also, go look at Melo's stats. Career .417 shooter and .320 from 3 in the playoffs over a lot more games. And guess what? It's still a small sample size because most of those playoff runs for him are 4-6 games total. But if we are JUST going by what they've done, these are both bad playoff performers.

 

Yes, LeBron had choked in his firsts playoffs too, if I remember correctly.
