Sports Bars...hmmmmm.....there's a ton of them.

If you want a nice upscale place, Champp's is cool. If you like a dive, there's the Salute Club, although that might be far from where you will be living. There are also several Humperdink's in the area, always good for sports with tons of TV's and cold beer.

Lemme know on here when you goin to throw something together. All I see are Mavericks games, which totally sucks, even though they have become a pretty good team. But I miss seeing the Rockets....and now I'm going to even miss seeing the Texans also....but thank God for the Internet

I was in Dallas a few weeks ago, and we went to this place called Christie's that was pretty badass. TV's, pool, that game that is a cross between shuffleboard and petanque, cool atmosphere as well. My friends tell me it rarely gets crowded, which is a plus in my book. Just a quaint place to watch a game and have a few beers.

 

Dude you are going to be living really close to where my pops pad is (Mockingbird and the tollway). I usually try and make it up there about once a month, so mark your calendar for the Mavs/Rockets game.

Promise me you wont be sucked in by the conservative, snobby, affluent lifestyle that central Dallas thrives on.......
