Games in which our offense isn't doing anything, we used to have nothing to rely on. This year our DEFENSE is winning us games... albeit against crap teams.

That being said this team is still untested. We had 1 good win against Miami, and 1 tough loss against the Warriors. The Spurs and Thunder played w/o their stars. Of course we were missing 3 starters against a Warriors team missing only 1 starter. So, the only thing we know for sure is that we are putting away the lotto teams consistently. We still have no idea how we will do against elite competition.

However, we are winning the games that we are supposed to win and even winning games without the offense helping at all. This is a big sign of improvement and maturity in our team.

Good teams don't have games where they score 69 points and barely beat the sixers.

NBATV lamenting how Rockets won this game because it wasn't a blow out.. Calling into question the consistency of the team.. I really hate those guys.. You're not going to blow out every NBA team you're supposed to blow out.. not even the Spurs do that.

Good defense = getting to play OKC without KD or Westbrook.

We are 1-1 against actual competitive NBA teams that have a chance at making the playoffs. Memphis tomorrow should answer a few questions.

People might want to go look up some of the teams Miami struggled against in the past 4 years before they spout off their ignorant opinions.

The Rockets were missing 3 of 5 starters including Dwight Howard against the Warriors, and tomorrow night is the second game of a back-to-back in Memphis.

You think those two games "answer questions"?

Wouldn't worry so much if it wasn't almost a carbon copy of the last game against the sixers.

Our guys didn't panic despite the horrible offensive output. That can be very valuable during the rest of the season. A lot of homework will have to be done to become a better all round team.

Then we're 2-1, or 1-0, if you're not gonna count the game vs SAS, then don't count the game vs GSW (injuries).

Tommorow id our first real test. I think we lose simply because , it memphis , on the road , back 2 back, we cant hit anything. But if we do lose , no matter how we lose , we cant act as if the sky is falling the days after. Good teams lose to good teams all season. we really need to start hitting threes , and harden making shots in general.

Probably the worst offensive game in the Mc-Harden era, and it's a win.

    I'll take it.
