I know the brawl was not a good thing for the NBA but at least for the Rockets it will mean no Ben Wallace when we play them on Nov 30. He will be serving the last game of his suspension. Maybe Yao can go off for about 30?

I think the Rockets will benefit indirectly from the incident with tighter officiating in the paint. There's some garbage that goes on in the paint sometimes, and it results in some inflamed tempers on both sides. That might change from now on. Yao and Mo are soft as soft can be for a frontcourt, so they will benefit from the tighter calling of fouls.

every game helps. if we can steal one because ben is out then more power to us.

oh, we also will be able to beat the pacers every time we play them for the rest of the season. but every team wioll have a chance to beat them now.

actually O'neal will be back by the time we play them. And if the players association is successful in reducing the suspensions then steven jackson will also be back by the time we play them.

We'll have more fun from Artest while he's devoting himself to the music

Guys do u fancy Ron Artest? He has been banned for the season because of the brawl. We may trade J Howard for him and next year we will have a tough PF . Is that amazing?

The whole league will benefit. So it's not really an advantage to us. Some teams will get to play them 2 or more times.

If only we get to play Pacers twice. 2 easiest wins ever. Their starting lineup cracks me up.

I actually wouldn't be surprised to see JVG make a move for Artest in the offseason or before. Artest is definitely a JVG-type player.

Artest is at best a SF, not a PF.

The fact tha Ben only got a 6 game ban is a joke. Anything around 20-25 games would have sufficed. Damn you David Stern.

On the other hand, Detriot can beat us easily without Ben Wallace. They have enough big men to go around including Rasheed, Antonio Mcdyce [sp], the flop and derrick coleman. If we do not bring it, they will hand it to us at home just like NY Knicks did.

I agree ben should have gotten more...as for the Rox vs. Detriot, it'll help, but its not a guarante...
