    2 years to build a ramp? What in the world?

    That whole area is so confusing already. Leaving the galleria area requires police escort now to figure out which entrance to take for north or south 610/59..

    Lived near there until recently. Off San Felipe inside the loop. Never had problems on my route, but lulz at the people opposite of me. RIP to them. What makes it so much worse is this area receives a lot of traffic from out-of-area people that have no clue what they're in for. Those folks make it 5x worse. 99x worse during the holidays. And 299x worse during rodeo.

    They need to stop trying to connect to Sugar Land. Let them figure it out. Not our problem.

    I think people have been ignoring freeway construction in Houston for a while. Those freeways were under construction before you were born and will continue to be under construction long after you're gone. As a matter of fact, as soon as the construction is done, they will blow it up for more construction because that's what they do... lol.

    It'll hurt my wife's daily commute home. She's not too happy about it. It's a fact of life, though, living in Houston. I've probably had a prolonged construction job somewhere on a regular route of mine 50% of the time I've lived here.

    That’s part of my shortcut around downtown.

    WFH now though. I couldn’t fathom ****ing commuting daily across Houston now. If for some reason I had to go into an office, I’m buying a house within 5 miles.
