The Rockets are 9-1 since the All-Star break and suddenly look as though they have reclaimed their status as the team most capable of upsetting Golden State in a seven-game series. They believe it, too.

”We’re peaking at the right time,” Rockets guard Eric Gordon said. “I think we’re right there with them.”

Gordon acknowledged that the Rockets “were a little worried” when they started 11-14 and promptly sank to the lower reaches of the West. But that was then.
