Wasted Potential: Video Games That Didn't Meet Expectations

Seriously? The battle with The End was probably one of my favorite boss battles in the whole franchise.

Was a little skeptical at first, but when I finally got around to play it, it was just another excellent addition to the Metal Gear series.


Mario Galaxy didn't quite meet my expectations; it's a great game for sure, but I felt the worlds weren't as expansive as I'd hoped they'd be.

But in terms of wasted potential, Animal Crossing: City Folk easily ranks at the top of the list. It's almost infuriating that the game is essentially a rehash of the Gamecube and DS versions.
